I was skeptical about all the negative reviews 1490t money can buy. But I have some digging and found that many of the gripes were in line with all the Garmin product line. Apparently had some firmware issues, and this is now resolved päivitys.Ostin this for my father for Father’s Day. He wanted something a little larger screen than the normal March 4, “which is common throughout the Garmin line. Each family is Garmin for their vehicles and we love them. All-in-all, they do an excellent job for you where you want. Life Map of updates bundled in this package to go was a smart buy. Let’s face it, the roads are constantly changing these days, and you must keep. additions make a nifty little gem too. I have an older unit and lacks many features here. I still like mine and use it daily. But it seems like a relic sitting beside it. You can read features of the product description.

I have a 1490T on Tuesday and download all updates and new maps. I have paired the Bluetooth phone and left at night to recover. On Wednesday we went to the Central Florida Panhandle and the 1490T worked perfectly – and this GPS is really great and we played with almost every office. I’ve turned it off and put it on the center console to keep it safe and left it overnight. Got it out and plugged the next morning and the screen flashed white then, Garmin’s name was – that’s where it sits today. Yes, I tried the device, reset the power on and off, and without food and is not connected to anything – it comes and flashes a white screen and then the word “Garmin” on the screen and he is on. We made the journey home without this great GPS and were just very disappointed. It was so funny Nuch use increase. . This was my second Garmin has 1 week to go bad. 265WT I bought last week, but the bluetooth GPS would be closed, when operated. I have an RMA Amazon so I decided to just go ahead and get the latest versatile device (1490T) jump. Previously I owned the Magellan Cross Over the past four years, and it is still great, but I wanted to work with Bluetooth add. It seems that while the market share of Garmin wins, they have sacrificed quality for profit organization. I’ll try a 1490T if we really did great, but we are worried about Garmin GPS laatua.UPDATE – 06.02.2010Sain email Garmin support, the following (Thanks for your Garmin International offered, I am sorry that this happened . need GPS service warranty. Restore the device below the address —- Once we receive your GPS unit and check the system, I get it back to about 10-14 days. Most of the units of the replacement of new equipment ) You must be joking! Ship, I have to pay Garmin, wait 10-14 days to receive the “revised” the machine back. After only five hours for the use of a new unit ??????????? I am not a happy camper Garmin! NOW – Amazon on the other e-mail me a shipping label to send back my dead gps back to them and they sent me a brand new Nuvi 1490T (night) at the same time. As I write this, I have my new camera to upgrade. Amazon is great – Garmin’s customer service policy sucks. . (And it was Memorial Day weekend – WOW) 23/06/2010 – followupOlen 1490T used on a regular basis and it now works just great. Everything works as traffic updates. I’ve occasionally advertising orders were sent, but the messages are completely out of the way and cause no problems. This is really a great general doctors, and we love it. I downloaded the POI increases the speed and red light cameras. Very nice feature, and you’ll have enough time to varovainen.Vaikka I love this device, I continue to harbor negative feelings toward Garmin customer service and policies.
