I have my wife Nuvi 750 for Christmas, but it comes back! We live in rural NW and my wife is a geologist and cartographer. We have some old 12xl Garmin eTrex Vista C and Topo U.S. 2008, we are very satisfied. Although C is optimized for Vista and hiking trails and not so sensitive to the receiver units later we had a very versatile one screen, which can be adapted so that the data he näyttää.En do not know if this is true of all nüvi, but we do not realize, although much research is not enough doing. 750 is for those who wish to time-controlled cities to tackle. It is a great family and take the “Idiot Lights” on the dashboard and gauges. It is clearly evident that, when all these units offer, and downright stupid in the wrong direction, who can not afford to go blind. 750 does not provide basic information to help you find things the old fashioned paper map, such as I head north or south pääkadulle.Olemme being replaced by the Nuvi 750 with 500 multi-purpose unit, which costs $ 100, but at least a screen to give under “Tools”, which gives you a compass rose with the actual title of the South = 180 degrees. It remains to be seen how the site is 500 particularly our sailboat. “Compass” is a simple statement about the direction of a point from the previous track, and it is easy to implement at low cost Garmin software. Rate has been calculated in the time to travel along the track pistettä.Vaikka this may seem unimportant in urban areas, rural areas like mine where NavTech map data is either the wrong number of back roads, or more often just Completely missing from this essential as the ability to place a Lat / Long coordinates and mark back sen.Useita times a year we visit major cities, it was very useful, there is a device to guide you. But much of the year, when the entourage nuvi 750 would only be a distraction footprint viiva.Lisäksi purchased after three Garmin units this Christmas, I did not name Plenio VXA-2100 7 “touch screen under $ 100! Nam I get the chance to two less than 750 to pay me. While not perfect, they walk around Nuvi 750, they make use of map data from Tele Atlas and Navtech in my area is far more extensive and I can 7 “screen to actually read without reading glasses ! They also show the exact direction of sound, an FM transmitter, MP3 and video and even a composite video port aux backup camera.

Lock time varies urgency about two minutes, but more generally in twenty or thirty seconds. The maps are a disappointment, not because my street or several streets in connection to the map. My work consists of several routes obvious off-road trips. Many of the connecting roads are at least 15 years old and local roads are at least 4 years old. No updates pages. I live in Phoenix, about 5 minutes from downtown, so it does not live in the wilderness. . . It’s the bright side POI is not bad. My local Chinese supermarket and restaurant ethopian there, like people, I was not sure that would be! It is easy to input destinations directly from Google Maps, MapQuest and GPS-USB connector tietokoneesi.MP3 it makes sense and control is very annoying intuitiivinen. On receive a warning idiots who always, when the contact device, I have no comment on the connection alive, because I disapprove of the use of mobile (even hands free) while driving. Perhaps that is why I never claim? So even complain about the cards in their own territory made in March, I am very happy with this unit. Map routing is adequate, but only useful calm traffic. Where I live, there is no demand for better routing so I can not complain, but I advise you if you are necessary for the “Fastest” route to visit during peak hours and every day, it’s not a device for you.

Greetings I bought this product a few weeks ago. I have the local VA / DC, and although the first day was slow to be connected – it’s topical now. I must admit that it takes me (including outside the house), a house or two away, but it’s ok. I tested the routes and most of them in the city knew how to understand what it chooses to make. Also had a DC signal that is not sunny and bright päivää.Aiomme LU driving and testing, as well as driving and pedestrian mode to find. This work after returning, if I find something worth mentioning. Prices, it is definitely better.

I had this GPS because my nuvi 360 has stolen to buy. This is a newer design than the nuvi 360, but the text-to-speech function is very poor in this model compared to the Nuvi 360 voice breaks, and speech is not smooth. The battles with text to speech, which is quite surprising, since the older model does not have this problem. The screen is bright, but at night the brightness down to 20 percent. I thought it would be atleast 40 per cent in the night. I returned the unit, but the other, but there were some problems, so it has nothing to do with the specific unit. Other things were very, gets a satellite without major delays. The display is better than the older nuvi.

I replaced the first in my Garmin C340 because it does not pick up satellites. I second the Garmin C340 was replaced after two years stopped picking up satellites. I have this Garmin Nuvi 700 about a month and now it seems, the speaker does not work anymore. Needless to say, I’m not really happy with Garmin products.
