I bought a GPS before yesterday. It is not given. I see that this amendment is the price dropped $ 8. . . I Got stem. . . . . P. S. 10/26/08. . UNIT arrived yesterday. . . They do not enclose a $ 20 discount coupon and call the customer service DUDE (India) and I have no results!. . Similarly guy with “Sing-song” one voice for me no Latitude on prices. . Customer Relations, HA!

Just received the unit and it will not start. Attempt to call product support, but it was closed. Closes at nineteen, and I asked to 19:15. Tried in line to support. None of the canned questions were answered to my problem so I wrote an e-mail, which I discovered later that it was already two days for a response. Why? Even reset it was almost impossible to achieve. You need a PIN code to get it. I get a bad choice.

This product does not speak the street names are announced. Replacement had the same problem. Box and the instructions stated that the XL-S model, but the actual product was only ONE XL. . . . Pity, because the price was right.

I have owned several GPS – Garmin 2, 2, Magellan, TomTom, and it. This device is by far the worst I’ve ever used. Menus are unnatural, the screen layout is terrible, the colors are horrible (all combinations!), Bluetooth does not work in my iphone, old maps, POI was useless to non-existent, online updating was a nightmare! ! even if it is a physical form is not as good as many others. weeks after trying to do their best, I gave up. eventually returning it to Amazon and ordered a Magellan 4250. 4250 came in today, and much much much better in exactly the same price. only the benefits that TomTom is more than Magellan, TomTom has the ability to download user created sounds. may be something else, but I do stupid things. . . I prefer something easy to use and reliable. much better w / Garmin (nuvi 200W is my other car – expensive but nice) or the Magellan 4250 (same price). Hopefully this will help you up your mind.

TomTom is the anti-dumping measures defective units back back on the market. My refurb unit died within 36 hours. Distorted and the screen froze up. Unit stops the download, but a bit of juice just when I found the correct cable. I can not imagine what a “renovation” of this device. I have been very successful refurb from Apple, but TomTom does not of course act in the same immunity. Do not be fooled by this purchase.
